Are you feeling uncertain about your own path in a changing world?

Your friends are getting married, people are settling down into careers. The yearly changes that accompanied us from grade school and possibly through college are slowing down. The “milestones” become fewer and farther in-between. You may be asking “Now what?” or “Is this it?”

You look around and it seems like everyone else has it together. The people around you seem to just have more time. More time to travel, more time to have a social life, more time to live, while you feel like all you can manage right now is work, Netflix, sleep, repeat.

And that’s not taking into account the state of the world. You wonder if you’ll ever be able to pay off your student loans. Family gatherings may be more uncomfortable as the political and social concerns shift. The changing climate may have you doubting your future plans.

Therapy can offer a space to explore and start making steps towards a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

Through therapy, we will:

  • Identify what makes life meaningful to you
  • Create plans to engage in what is important to you
  • Identify barriers to living a fulfilling life and learn how to navigate through them
  • Develop coping skills to support management of stress and anxiety
  • Learn new ways to support self-efficacy, self-compassion, and overall well-being

We will develop skills that will help with our day to day stressors and concerns, but therapy is more than a band-aid. It is a time for self-exploration and reflection. Through our work together, we will tune into your thoughts and feelings and will try to better understand where they are coming from. Although feelings can feel messy, illogical, and annoying, their ultimate purpose is guidance. And through examining our guidance systems, we will uncover insight about our wants, needs, and purpose.
